Invest in Girls is a program of the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education focused on equipping high school girls with real-world financial knowledge, meaningful mentorship opportunities, and exposure to careers where women continue to be underrepresented.
Through engaging experiences and professional connections, girls gain practical skills, ask important questions, and begin to see new possibilities for their futures.
A high-energy one-day experience bringing students together for financial learning, career exploration, networking, and mentorship with professional women in business and finance.
A deeper learning experience typically offered over four to six sessions or weeks, either in-person at schools and organizations or virtually through Zoom. These courses focus on practical personal finance and life skills.
Hands-on visits to businesses, financial institutions, and workplaces where students can experience careers in action, meet professionals, and explore opportunities they may not have previously considered.
Students also gain something equally important:
Connections with inspiring women who encourage them, share their experiences, and help them see what is possible for their future.
Invest in Girls can be offered through schools, churches, youth organizations, community groups, and other student-serving programs across Oklahoma.
We would love to connect with you about bringing an Invest in Girls experience to your students.
