It’s Time to Nominate Your Outstanding Economic Student!

The Oklahoma Council on Economic Education and the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, Oklahoma City Branch are invite Oklahoma high schools to participate in the eighth annual Outstanding Economics Student Awards Program. We believe these awards recognize outstanding students and highlight the importance of an economic way of thinking. The awards are part of the comprehensive economic education programs of the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education and the Federal Reserve Bank.

Each school is invited to honor one student. Your honored student, his or her parents or guardians (maximum of two persons), and a representative of your school will be invited to attend a dinner and awards ceremony at the Federal Reserve Bank in Oklahoma City on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Using Better Money Habits Videos to Teach Personal Finance


Tuesday, December 5th, 2017
9 AM to 3 PM

Learn how to use a library of highly engaging videos produced by Khan Academy to teach middle and high school students about personal finance. These practical, standards-aligned personal finance lessons connect videos from Bank of America’s Better Money Habits to activities from CEE’s award-winning Financial Fitness for Life curriculum. Topics cover budgeting, saving, credit, debt and meeting financial goals.
